Maybelline Baby Lips Moisturizing Lip Balm

Price: $2.97 - $3.99
Overall Rating: 8/10

Hello! Welcome back to The Chaotic Serenity.

Today I'm going to review Maybelline's Baby Lips Moisturizing Lip Balm! Now - there is much to say about this little tube of happiness. It does exactly what it promises. No more. No less. I'm going to explain to you the promises, pros, and cons of this product and hopefully you too will try this for yourself.

Directions for use:
Glide Baby Lips SPF 20 Lip Balm over lips before sun exposure. Wear it alone or under your favorite Maybelline New York lip color.

Promises:
Clinically proven to make lips 82% visibly less dry, 94% less rough, 77% more supple, and and better looking after using it for 4 weeks.

Pros:
  • This DOES make your lips softer after a month. You can tell.
  • Coming in 11 flavors and colors it makes it easy to find your right color.
  • Not too dark and not too light in color.
  • Easy to wear during the day and night.
  • 20 SPF helps lips stay soft and not chapped or dry.
  • Wipes off as easy as it is applied.
Cons:
  • Easily builds up around water lines on lips.
  • Doesn't last a long time. You need to keep applying it.
I'm not the type to go out and buy every color and flavor of something if I haven't tried it. So the only one I have tried so far is
PEACH KISS
I'm pretty happy with this color. It's really sheer and it's not too noticeable. When I have a lot of eye make up on the last thing I want is something to draw attention away from my eyes. That's what makes this particular color perfect for me. There's no set time. It glides on so smooth and feels light when you wear it. What you see is what you get really. Unlike those dark lip balms that come out too light.
It's just small enough to fit into your pocket or purse. The secure !click! when you place the cap back on lets you know it wont open on it's own. (I'm sure we've all had that happen) -_-

All in all - I would totally buy this again. I'm looking forward to buying it in a different color. Very Good!

Kroger’s Yogurt Smoothie Bars

 Kroger’s Yogurt Smoothie Bars

Price: Under $5.00
Where to buy: Kroger Stores
OVERALL RATING: 9/10

I am definitely NOT an ice cream fan. To me it hurts my already sensitive  teeth. It never sits well on my stomach leaving a heavy feeling.
And it really is hard to find a taste that I like. Almost every time I finish eating ice cream of any type I always wish I hadn't.

HOWEVER!

Every now and then I will get that chaotic tick that only ice cream will suffice. When this happens all I can do is spend GOOD money on EXPENSIVE ice cream. Godiva, Dove, Ben&Jerry's, and even the oh so grand Starbucks - oh yeah - I'll throw out the dollars for it.

With that being said, I would like to introduce to you Kroger's Yogurt Smoothie Bars.
I am part BzzAgent and the first box I recieved for free.
The second box I bought with one of the coupons they gave me.
They come in these flavors:

.
STRAWBERRY BANANA
AND

 TRIPLE BERRY

Now I gave this a try and I must say,These things aren't that bad. I tried the Triple Berry.
They're really thick and creamy. They're small so you don't have to worry about over eating, and the calorie count is only 100 calories.

 Bam!:
Calorie Count and Nutrition

There ya have it! It's tasty, properly portioned, and healthier then a friggin' candy bar.

So if you're dieting you won't have to worry about throwing off your whole groove.
All in all I would say I'd buy them again. They were pretty good and didn't make me feel like a total cow when I finished it.

  Indulge with out guilt?
  Don't mind if I do... ^_^

got2b POWDER'ful - Volumizing Powder Review

 got2b POWDER'ful - Volumizing Powder Review
With the sleek colors covering the box and the volumized hottie on the cover, you can tell that the Schwarzkopf company isn't playing games. They want you to have fluffy, voluminous, and deadly hair. I'm here to explain their promises, pros, cons and fails of this product.

The Schwarzkopf company has obviously made a fortune on selling salon quality products to the masses at a fairly reasonable price. But allow me to say that at the end of the day you get what you pay for,

My experience with this powder was different to say the least. I'm never fond of sticking anything powdery on my hair. It's just a weird concept to me.
I have very fine and wavy hair. It is very picky about when it wants to hold curl and when it spits it back out.
I tried it none the less. It isn't a bad little idea. Stick powder on your head and ~*~POOF~*~ you have gorgeous locks.

So I shook it on my head and ~*~GASP!~*~ - nothing.
Added a little more and worked it in with little to no fluff added. Okay. Getting a little upset I parted my hair and added it directly to my head and worked it in.

Not the cleanest my head has ever felt I'll tell you that!
After much use and rubbing my roots, I finally managed to get it fluffy enough. Never did it say you need half the bottle to create said effect on hair. Whatevs.
OH...if you don't keep fluffing it throughout the wear, it goes flat. Well - for me at least.

Directions for use: Shake small amount into your palm and rub hands together. You will see the powder disappear but you still still feel it on your hands. Distribute into dry hair, focusing on the roots, for an INSTANT boost and volume.

Promises:
  • "10 seconds to 2 VOLUME!"
  • Adds instant texture to hair.
  • Flexible control for hair.
  • Overall Satisfaction of Fluffy, Controlled, and Voluminous hair.
Pros:
  • Very easy to apply. Just shake straight onto hair or hands and work into hair.
  • Not an unpleasant smell. Not the best but not horrid.
  • Container about 4 inches tall fits well into any bag, purse, or luggage.
  • Light weight formula of product does not weigh hair down.
  • No instant grimy feeling on hair.
Cons:
  • Later gives a dirty head feel.
  • Does not give volume as promised.
  • Doesn't explain how much product you need to create your desired style.
  • Powder turns sticky and grimy while in hands after it "melts".
So I guess all in a nutshell - its not that bad of a product. I wouldn't buy this unless I couldn't find something else to do the job though.
